Old Water Tower
Directly south of current water tower | Built: 1909 | Lost: 1997
This water tower replaced a smaller structure that stood on Pierce Street near B Avenue.
The new tank held 300,000 gallons and stood at the highest elevation of any water tower in the state.
The second water tower was built in 1980. Former mayor Patrick Bastianelli came up with the idea to paint "Hot" and "Cold" on the sides.
